Research and Application of Ultra High Performance Concrete in Engineering Projects in Japan

Abstract Japan is located in the international seismic zone, and also a resource intensive country. It has unique features research application of ultra-high performance concrete materials. The paper analyzes summarizes engineering cases strength grade above 150 N/mm 2 , including structural system, mix design, production process, grade, etc. Silica fume composite cement, with strict calculation sand stone gradation, improves compactness beyond conventional concrete; super high water reducing agent can greatly reduce cement ratio improve working performance, especially expansion degree; Organic fiber steel are important fire resistance, explosion resistance ductility. Ultra-high could building structures utilization rate area, new materials provide more choices for design application.
